Superb tour again this year lads-Thanks to chief conehead Butcher for organising once again. Butchy you are a legend! Champagne moment this year has to be being 15-7 at Birlingham and winning! Even Bodger managed to stay on his feet whilst wielding the willow! I did also enjoy Ray Juliens comment 'your team is having a mare' whilst the top order got blown away. Never say die lads-its a funny old game this cricket! Huddy

hi folks I now own the 1955 Wallis and Steevens roller that used to belong to BCC. I am about to start a complete restoration of the roller and would love to hear from anyone who knows anythig about the roller, its use at Blagdon or its history before going to Blagdon. Any leads or information welcomed, please call (07966 443468 or 01453 835710) or email me. Many thanks Tony Ind

Subject: Beach Cricket
I am not a fan of cricket but I have been advised by Matt "Statto" Colwill that the game is based to a large extent on the state of the pitch. So what the hell is Beach Cricket about?! Cricket seems to be desperate to get fans at any cost, 20/20, that game where if you hit the roof you get 9.

Subject: Where's harlow
i have been an avid follower of blagdon for a whole 2 seasons now. on at least 4 occasions i have braved the 30 degree heat, downed 17 bottles of becks, cheered another bando forward defensive, dodged an intermitent middled strike from home wrecker smallsey and poked fun at rory breakdowns barnett. i have also endured several hours of sideline banter with a stray nutbar who takes immense pleasure after every blagdon wicket and oposition 6. addmitedly the sideline japery is a massive part of the entertainment which brings me on to my next point. Guy Harlow AKA the great harzini, ginger washington, the masked harbinger does not feature on your comprehensive website, this puzzles me given the cultural significance of this once in a life time character. guy has literally a whole handfull of fans across the west country and they would very much like to see his contribution to the side recognised in an official capacity on your website. if you require pictures they are available upon request. yours in sport grinders

Congrats to all those on Tour this year. Both games were played in a good spirit and the evenings were a good laugh. Even the "chav master" was not too bad!! this year anyway! (we must try to arrange some "vedgeterian rice" for Jon Withers next year though!!)

Due to a large amount of spam being posted on the message board recently I've had to create a new one and unfortunately this has resulted in the previous messages that were posted being lost. Apologies to all those who have posted messages in the past but please continue to do so as it's always nice to hear from you.
